This bow was fun to create. I started with a thick gague wire, which I bent into the basic shape and then covered in wadded
newspaper and masking tape. The next step was to cover this base in celluclay. After that dried, I went through a sand, gesso,
sand, gesso process to obtain a smooth finish. The spiraled ends are Sculpey, which are attached to the ends of the bow with
hot glue. Once the hotglue dried, I covered it with Model Magic to create a smooth finish. The whole shebang was then sprayed
with Make It Suede! to mask any imperfections, spray painted gold, and detailed.

Detail of the handle. The wire shape was actually handmade free-form six months before I began this project, and it just happened
to fit in with the colour scheme of the bow. Lucky! :)

Detail of the end. Here you can see the slight texture discrepancy between the Sculpey curls, the Model Magic covering, and
the Celluclay body of the bow. I tried to mask the stark edges a bit with ribbon and trim.
