Skirt

The skirt was actually one of the most frustrating aspects of this costume to make. It took about seven trial-and-error attempts before I decided on the gathers, and then it took multiple attempts to ensure the gathers fell attractively. The beaded knotwork garnishes each gather. The top is beaded with the same leaf chain designs that are on the cape hem, and the point of the skirt features a modified leaf design as well.

The skirt laid out on the ground. It is attached to the belt as means to wear it.
